Saigon Asset Management to Invest Up to $1.5 Billion in Vietnam's Largest Data Center in Binh Duong

The Saigon Asset Management (SAM) fund has announced the launch of the SAM DigitalHub project, the largest data center in Vietnam. The complex will be located on a 50-hectare plot in the VSIP Industrial Park in Binh Duong Province, near Ho Chi Minh City.

Total investment in the project will reach up to 1.5 billion US dollars. The data center's capacity will reach 150 MW, creating world-class infrastructure to serve both local and international companies.

The launch of the first phase is planned for 2027. The project aims to support the digitalization of the economy and develop Binh Duong as a new technology hub in Southeast Asia.

As part of the project implementation, a specialized fund has also been established — the Vietnam Data Center Fund (VDCF) with a volume of $300 million USD. The first round of investment in the fund is expected in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Louis Nguyen, CEO of Saigon Asset Management, noted that the key factor in the project's successful implementation was the partnership with VSIP, which provided support regarding land, power supply, and logistics.
