On September 16, 2026, a consortium led by Vingroup broke ground on the new Vinhomes King Park urban area in Bac Ninh. Spanning nearly 270 hectares in the northern part of the Kinh Bac district, the project boasts a total investment of over VND 41 trillion ($1.58 billion).
Vinhomes King Park will be Vingroup's second major urban development project in Bac Ninh, following Vinhomes Bac Ninh. The consortium also includes Thanh Binh Trade Development Investment Consulting, New Life Real Estate Development and Investment, and Phu Tho Land.
The project is situated at the intersection of two major economic corridors: Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh and Lang Son - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh. It is located close to key transport infrastructure assets in northern Vietnam, including the North-South Expressway, Gia Binh International Airport, the planned rail link connecting the airport to Hanoi, and the proposed Hanoi - Quang Ninh high-speed railway.
A significant portion of the land will be dedicated to open spaces. The construction density at Vinhomes King Park will be less than 20%. Nearly 57 hectares will be allocated to green spaces and water surfaces, with an additional 70+ hectares designated for sports infrastructure. The master plan also includes residential neighborhoods, commercial properties, schools, medical facilities, a shopping mall, recreational areas, parks, and public spaces.
The residential component will feature townhouses, villas, and apartment buildings. According to previously published project data, approximately 60 hectares of land are earmarked for housing development—comprising nearly 3,500 units, including villas, townhouses, and high-rise apartment buildings of up to 35 stories. Another 9.5 hectares are designated for social housing.
Natural landscapes play a distinct role in the project's concept. The site borders the Cau River on two sides and encompasses the Hoa Long peninsula. This area is planned to be developed as an ecological and sports zone, integrated with the network of water bodies, parks, and green corridors within the project.
The launch of Vinhomes King Park coincides with a new phase in Bac Ninh's development as a major economic and industrial hub in northern Vietnam. The project combines residential real estate with commercial, educational, medical, and sports infrastructure within a single master-planned community, while its strategic location provides seamless access to the region's key transportation corridors.
