Vietnamese Companies Report Record Q2 2026 Profits

Vietnam's largest public companies have published their financial results for the second quarter of 2026. Many reported record quarterly profits or their best first-half financial performance in history. The most notable growth was demonstrated by companies in the real estate, tourism, energy, retail, manufacturing, and logistics sectors.

The highest performance among developers was presented by Vinhomes, a subsidiary of Vingroup. In Q2 2026, the company's net profit exceeded VND 26.5 trillion (around $1.01 billion), which is more than triple the result for the same period last year.

For the first half of the year, Vinhomes' revenue grew by 243% year-on-year to VND 116.6 trillion ($4.44 billion). Net profit reached VND 52.1 trillion ($1.98 billion), increasing nearly 4.8 times. The company has already fulfilled about 87% of its annual profit target.

The best quarterly performance in its history was also achieved by Vinpearl, a member of Vingroup. Its revenue rose by 13% to VND 3.31 trillion ($126.02 million), while net profit surged 3.8 times to VND 632 billion ($24.06 million).

In the first half of the year, Vinpearl's revenue reached VND 6.79 trillion ($258.54 million), up almost 15% compared to the previous year. Net profit exceeded VND 2.14 trillion ($81.52 million), growing more than eightfold. Based on the six-month results, the company completed 43% of its annual revenue target and 71% of its profit target.

Masan Group holding company also finished the best quarter in its history. Its consolidated revenue rose by more than 54% to VND 28.1 trillion ($1.07 billion), and net profit exceeded VND 3.8 trillion ($144.67 million), more than doubling. Following the release of the report, the company raised its guidance for 2026, now expecting revenue of VND 98–105 trillion ($3.73–4 billion) and net profit of VND 10–11.5 trillion ($381–438 million).

Strong financial results were also posted by PVTrans, FPT Retail, Vinamilk, and Binh Minh Plastics.

PVTrans' Q2 net profit increased by 88% to VND 678 billion ($25.82 million), and reached VND 1.07 trillion ($40.74 million) in the first half of the year, marking the highest figure in the company's history.

FPT Retail boosted its quarterly revenue by 37% to VND 15.6 trillion ($593.98 million), while net profit almost tripled to VND 451 billion ($17.17 million). For H1, the company achieved 52% of its annual revenue target and 67% of its profit target.

Vinamilk reported the highest quarterly net profit in its history — nearly VND 3.19 trillion ($121.46 million), up 28% year-on-year. For the first half of the year, the company's revenue grew by 18% to VND 35.03 trillion ($1.33 billion), and net profit rose by 38% to VND 5.64 trillion ($214.75 million). This represents 53% of its annual revenue plan and over 57% of its profit plan.

Plastic product manufacturer Binh Minh Plastics also closed the quarter with its best financial result in history. With revenue at VND 1.32 trillion ($50.26 million), practically unchanged from last year, net profit grew by 11% to VND 367 billion ($13.97 million). The company's gross margin stood at 46.7%.
