The authorities of Khanh Hoa province, home to the resort city of Nha Trang, have published a list of 231 projects proposed for attracting private investment in the period 2026-2030. The document was approved by the Provincial People's Committee and published on January 19.
The main goal of the initiative is to attract a significant amount of capital from outside the state budget, accelerate the development of the region's economy, and implement infrastructure upgrade plans.
The projects cover a wide range of industries. The distribution by main areas is as follows:
- Tourism and services — about 70 projects, which emphasizes the key role of tourism for the province's economy.
- Urban development and real estate — more than 40 projects, including new residential areas and commercial development.
- Energy and renewable energy sources — 41 projects, including solar and wind power plants.
- Industry, agriculture, education and healthcare, as well as environmental and scientific and technological initiatives — the remaining projects of the program.
Among the proposed properties are resort and hotel complexes in Nha Trang and coastal areas, urban and commercial projects, logistics and port facilities, as well as energy infrastructure facilities.
The authorities of Khanh Hoa expect that the implementation of these projects will accelerate economic development, create new jobs and strengthen the region's status as one of the most promising destinations for investment in Vietnam.
